Transaction Mercantile's supply chain financing programme enables invoice processing and payment to be accelerated to the same rigorous performance standard demanded of physical logistics processes.

Transaction Mercantile has developed a supplier finance payment system combined with additional working capital funding which synchronises financial settlement and the movement of cash with the physical movement of goods and services between Supplier and Buyer.

Buyers are attracted to the system as it releases cash to be deployed elsewhere in the enterprise, or enables trade credit terms to be extended. Suppliers benefit from the removal of extended credit periods and the costs associated with funding and chasing overdue payments. Transactions become cash sales removing the risk of bad debt.

The programme works alongside the existing business processes used in the supply chain and normally requires little or no change to operating procedure for either Buyer
or Supplier.
